Christmas Valley Bigfoot Uploader Loses Fight With Phil Poling


Last month, Phil Poling did a breakdown of the Christmas Valley Bigfoot video by enhancing the image of the supposed "Bigfoot". He poked fun at their bad acting and pointed out some of the laughable parts of the video. "This thing is so bad, even I know where to begin," Phil said. Days after the breakdown, Phil was hit with a "Copyright Infringement" filed by the owner of the video and got his breakdown video removed. A "counter-notification" was submitted to the owner by Phil and the result is the following video:

    1. A guy told me boastfully that if he ever seen Big Foot he'd shoot him 6 times.

      So I told him that won't hurt Bigfoot one bit. He'll take the gun from you and pound you on top of your head with his fist, until he drives you down into the ground, like a spike. Bigfoot is just that powerful.

      He gave me a surprised timid look and walked away.

  4. So you just continued to use someone work after they ask you not to? If he is the one who filmed it, then it is his copy written work. He may not have the time or money to take you to court but if you don't have his permission to use it. It would be wrong it seems. This is the same Phil that had all the trouble with the Hovey Photo and copyright thing right?

    8. Mellisa Hovey did not have the copyright to that photo and she claimed to have gotten it from an anonymous source. Unless that anonymous source steps foward, it is fair use by anyone! Like the following for example!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Phil - you say it's so bad you don't even know where to begin, BUT YOU DON'T EVEN BEGIN. I don't mean any disrespect, but if you're going to break something down you should at least DO IT instead of resorting to mocking behavior. Forget about the video, it just doesn't come across as very professional on YOUR part. I don't want to hear sarcastic comments from you, I want to see you actually break it down. If you think it's fake, SHOW US why you think so, otherwise it just comes across as self-aggrandizement.

  9. Who is this "Phil Poling" another arm chair researcher ? I personally thought that this was one of the few that I would label as convincing and real as it gets.Stop questioning other peoples work and trying to prove they are wrong. You steal peoples work and try to show it as your own. Who ever posted this...Great Job and keep up the great work you do. It is people like yourself who go out and do the leg work while others tray to steal and say it is theirs !

  10. What I don't understand, with all due respect, is where is the breakdown? I hear about these so-called "break downs" and I never see it. All I see are comments without any substantial information, only snide remarks, for lack of a better term.
    I don't get anything that is intelligently done here by Phil. You hail him as some all knowing guy of "break downs" of these films, and I don't see it. Frankly, I come from a family of film makers and your claim on his abilities are laughable so far. I would like to see a legitimate break down. Phil has no proven abilities at this juncture. I only ask him to step it up and bring what he really can do. So far, I am not impressed, and comments by team tazer make them look foolish and amateurish, frankly.

    1. If you follow the assholes from team tazerbigfoot you will understand they rarely contribute positively to any discussion. Rick Dyer (whom I despise)recently "outed" some information regarding their leader Mike Merchant that kind of makes you wonder about his truthfulness. Look it up.

  13. I think it's pretty clear who lost this "fight". If Phil is under the impression that this video is making him look like the bigger man he is terribly mistaken. Calling someone names after stealing their YouTube video is just the kind of behavior that makes all the skeptics think that bigfoot enthusiasts are a bunch of high school girls trapped in the bodies of disgusting middle-aged men. Seriously, enough with the teenage drama. Grow up and get a real job. Be a productive member of society instead of getting caught up in stupid, pointless disputes like this one.
    Or at least read a book. Phil's attempts at comedic insult are painfully dumb. "Probably a hooker", "Stalin", etc. You're a nobody. A stank and sweaty pile of hairy skin with a big mouth and a computer. At least these people are outdoors when they make their fake bigfoot videos. Go make your microwaved dinner and guzzle more soda you worthless slob.
