Did Guy Edwards "5 Stages of a "BIG" Bigfoot Announcement" Come True on the Supposed Daisy Bigfoot in a Box Capture and Team Quantra?

Ok folks, we all were intrigued by the report from the originator of the “Daisy in a box” claim by an unknown group known and called by Ed Smith as Team “Quantra”. The entire episode seemed like a movie about the capture of a female Bigfoot in an elaborate trap which was created by a highly trained ex-military team of Bigfoot researchers. They had us at the edge of our seats as the play by play of the developing news filled the community. With every juicy piece of news we thought we could finally say we are not crazy and start sending crow pie to all the skeptics and trolls that are part of this community. Admit it trolls and skeptics, you love hanging out in the Bigfoot blogs and sites!

Oh but what a fine tangled web we weave when a possible Bigfoot hoax is being use to deceive! Is the statement too harsh? Well I said it and hope D.W. Lee does not get mad… at least as of now it’s getting close to seeming that way!

The wisdom of one of the greatest minds in the Bigfoot community, Guy Edwards, must be resounding in the minds of many who hoped the “Daisy” story is the real deal. Now where will this all lead the MABRC? So many claims and then a postponement and then another and so on, and on, and on and on! Then a bridge team is announced and Ed smith hand picks Dr. Meldrum and Mellissa Hovey. The others from what it seems were picked by D.W. Lee. WHAAAAAAAAAAAT! Is D r. Meldrum not enough for them to need Hovey and the others, her expertise was stated in the article from Squatch Unlimited as… ”She is a straight shooter and tells it like it is” well she was handpicked by Ed Smith just like Dr. Meldrum. So does Ed Smith know Mellissa Hovey? Very strange indeedy, hmmmmm! One thing for sure Dr. Meldrum does not know anyone personally from the MABRC or the supposed team Quantra.

No disrespect to Hovey or the others picked, but in this kind of news I did not expect them to pick those names in the BF community besides Meldrum and the other scientists they mentioned. In my opinion if this would have even been possibly true, Dr. Meldrum would have recommended better qualified people to be part of the Bridge team. Naturally Meldrum was a good choice to possibly bring true credibility to the Daisy Bigfoot story… sorry Dr. Meldrum but I think they were trying to use your credibility to bring more attention to Ed smith story … maybe? (Sigh) Well it did work damn it! I was hooked and I felt if Dr. Meldrum says yes, then this has to real! Not!

Now let’s breakdown this Daisy Bigfoot in a box story using the methods of the guru of Bigfoot wisdom Guy Edwards and his “5 Stages of a “BIG” Bigfoot Announcement”

Stage one

The Announcement!

Ed smith post on the MABRC:

Today, I received a text from the "Flash List" routing server. The text is as follows:

December 27, 2012 10:09 AM
From: CINC - 6
As of 0906 27 DEC 2012, "Daisy" is in the box.

I believe this message is factually correct because when we referred BF while under observation we used the term "target" the designation was to change to "Daisy" once captured.

Whoa! Very technical covert operations lingo! Peoples jaws were dropping already and the mad rush crashed the MABRC server eventually, so many diehard fans of the superstar known as Bigfoot wanted info. So the announcements begin, let it be done, let it be written!

We have a female Bigfoot in a box… rejoice Bigfoot fans young and old!

Well, it was not exactly that way but it felt like it was. Even I was hoping for this to all be true so I could start my career as a Bigfoot habituator. (Big Smile)

Stage Two

Defensiveness or Attack of Critics!

Everybody and their momma questioned the authenticity of Ed Smith claim and even if he was a real person, D.W. Lee comes to the defense of Smith and tells everyone Ed smith and Team Quantra are a real entities and to be patient. The MABRC explains that Ed smith is a long time contributor to their forum and D.W. Lee claims to have even met Smith.

The most important part of the criticism is the lack of evidence and validity of claim. Reason being, no one but the most inner circle of the MABRC knew who Ed smith is and why was he given out supposedly secret inside information from a source ( Team Quantra) he was no longer part of which no one even knew existed except for Ed smith.

The claims by Ed smith was team Quantra use to be another group called O-6. He used to belong another secret group that only the inner most special people in the MABRC knew about! Man this story is getting good!

In the end still no proof, just more talk and interviews claiming the Daisy in a Box Bigfoot is the real deal.

Stage Three

Postponement of Evidence!

As the story unfolded even more the key players Ed Smith and D.W. Lee started to give interviews and worked hard to get more info to the masses that were hungry and still are now for the truth on the Daisy dilemma. Ed smith with the help of his good buddy D.W. Lee started giving out, operational secrets of the possibly inner workings on how Daisy was captured by this highly trained Para-military group with super hero like powers and tech. The story made it seem like they had the backing of Bill Gates to accomplish anything and build a trap never seen before in the Bigfoot world… well to be honest in any other field related to animal captures.

They had a secret location where Daisy was transported too… no wait they have several secret locations all over North America, yeah. Yeah that’s the ticket! Man this is like a Seal Team Unit, if Bin Laden was captured, surely team Quantra had to have Daisy Bigfoot in a box.

Why when I say “Daisy Bigfoot” it gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside?

Once again just more stories and the typical we are working to get more information but let us do more interviews to generate more following and bring more people to our MABRC forum and site. As the days became weeks the story became more intricate like a script for a secret agent movie. But once again… not one shared proof of the supposed capture of the female Bigfoot to support the claims made by Ed smith. Will the real Ed smith please stand up! Please stand up!

Stage Four

Postponement of Evidence Again!

Ok here we go again, as the week passed along the mysterious Ed Smith once again called upon his close and good friend, hmmm, D.W. Lee to help him gather the dream team of the Bigfoot world to form a bridge team to bridge the lines of peaceful and honest communication between the major players of the Daisy saga, Ed smith, D.W. Lee, and Team Quantra.

The powers that be, in this case Ed Smith called upon the people he wanted to be part of this bridge group, one of my favorite Bigfoot supporters and scientist, drum roll please… Dr. Jeff Meldrum (fan fair and fireworks going off) which caused many to stop and say, wait a minute… Meldrum will be part of this, holy sh!t this must be the real deal, we can all rejoice Daisy Bigfoot is real!

Then the Ed Smith story took a bad turn, in a supposed super double secret meeting in an undisclosed location Ed smith is informed the bridge team is now longer required because Team Quantra had hired a public relations firm to handle the Daisy Bigfoot story.

This is what Squatch Unlimited site posted:

“In communications with Ed Smith, Quantra claimed to have involved a public relations firm that negated the need for outside researcher’s involvement. This occurred within 48 hours after the announcement of the composition of the list of independent researchers.

There has been nothing presented to the individuals involved to substantiate any claims of Ed Smith. The researchers involved attempted to verify the claims in reference to Quantra but were denied an opportunity to do so.”

Then the news comes, surprise! Ed Smith’s account has suspended in the MABRC forum (Bad Ed! Slap on the hand…Bad Ed, no! You behave!) And once, Squatch Unlimited once again makes another post on the suspension of good old Ed.

“MABRC leadersip has decided that Ed Smith's account on the MABRC forums should be suspended until he can produce anything factual to back up claims about Quantra.”

Ooooook! Well isn’t what the MABRC requesting from Ed smith now what we all wanted, good old evidence to back up Ed Smith claim, why even entertain Ed Smith story without proof MABRC? WHY! Oops am I yelling?

So much disappointment and the hope just faded away as quickly as it came. We all got the wakeup call, well some of us did that wanted to believe in Daisy in a Box.

Stage Five

Claim you are a Victim of a Hoax!

So here we are, we wait for the final stage, and will Guy Edwards’s fifth stage come true? The ball is in Ed smith court; if he is even real and has a physical form… he seems as elusive as Bigfoot. Well I guess we will have to trust D.W Lee on that truth. Will the MABRC claimed Ed Smith hoaxed everyone and wash their hands of their involvement in all these claims or will this just disappear and the MABRC will go silent for a while until the community forgets these events and moves on to another claim of Bigfoot in a box?

As for me, the side that thinks Bigfoot is real is hurting a little, very disappointed at the D.W. Lee and the MARBC for supporting this claim without proof. One thing for sure I will never forget the MABRC’s roll in all this. They can only blame D.W. Lee, their fearless leader, if the group receives plenty of negative backlashes from Ed Smith claims unless he is truly real and can come up with evidence of his claim.
