I decided to look into this video further and a friend Jay on twitter at @GigantoBigfoot was able to find more info and translated an important fact about the video. The site mentioned on the beginning of the video MurmanCity.com is the link the video is connected to, which seemed to be posted by some locals from the city. My friend Giganto also discovered that the video was posted on the MurmanCity.com site under the Category: Incidents and Crime March 25, 2011, 19:24, posted by an admin from the site. I have not been able to find any other post on YouTube of the video. So the interesting part about it was that the video was posted as a strange event that occurred in the city and reported as a sighting of relic hominoid per the translation.
One thing I did find interesting is that the site promotes the area Murmansk and has different information on the site. Here is a post Giganto found which some one posted under the video:

Yes hoaxers spend months intricately carving dermal ridges in their phony big feet.
Yes, that is plausible.
In fact, some hoaxers get Martian assistance in these carvings. Martians arrive in little tinfoil ships carrying special carving tools.
That is far more plausible than bigfoot.
Therefore, the dermal ridge evidence is not evidence.

ReplyDeleteMy first thought when I saw the thing pop up over the fence was, "what the hell is Don King doing in white face and in Russia?" But outside of that, the entire video seems off to me.
ReplyDeleteNot just off like it is a hoax and not off like it is something real. It just doesn't look right in any way, shape or form. The way the face is with the dark eyes is odd too.
It almost gives me the creeps but almost makes me laugh too. I have never had that type of reaction to any video. Either they are total jokes or they make me go, "well, THAT was interesting." It is strange.
I think the part that is bugging me most is the face. It appears to have some facial movement which is not common in masks in most hoaxes. Then when the video clears most as it peeks over fence, my hair and skin start to twitch and crawl but then stop. Almost it is my body saying oh shit, oh wait, never mind.
I hope more info comes out on it, but I imagine like most info during the Cold War, it won't be very good or accurate.

ReplyDeleteJust wondering why the guy at the end asked 'did you see that white thing'? This was of course after they had all chased the 'thing'. Also would question why they just so happened to be filming at that point. Very coincidental.

ReplyDeleteDoes anyone else notice that it looks like when it takes off it almost drops to all fours? It is really bent over for a few steps. Did it slip in the snow? Is that the awkwardness everyone sees? Maybe it was not awkward as much as it was going to all fours for traction then gone.
