"Florvanic" the land of Bigfoot

Did you know that there's a land called "Florvanic"? It's Florida skunk ape hunter Tim Fasano's favorite Bigfoot hotspot. Unlike Todd Standing, who refuses to let outsiders into "Sylvanic", Fasano is pretty opened about his location and frequently invites others to the site.

    1. A happy Easter to all indeed.

If Tim is eager to bring people to his areas, I applaud him. Someday I may take him up on it.

If Standing is hesitant, well I understand that also and if I had a place I also would be hesitant. After Survivorman Bigfoot it is not quite the secret it use to be.

Again as Phil would say Happy Happy Happy Easter.

    3. JOE. Did you view yesterdays Thinker Thunker take on the Mission, BC video. If not give it a look and let me know what you think. He found movement when the alledged bigfoot steps down that is almost impossible for a human to replicate and something a hoaxer surely would never consider or pull off.

    4. I did see it buddy and to be honest, as always I thoroughly enjoyed his analysis. I have been meaning to find the thread of comments from about a year ago when the footage first came out, as there were some interesting points regarding the origin and circumstances of the footage. When I find it I'll be able to lend my full opinion on it sooner.

      Peace.

    5. Hey guys, do you think that when the subject in that film made the first step down that the foot of the subject may have slid down? Causing the legs to spread, and the back foot to be delayed from moving?
      Is this too crazy sounding?
Do you understand what I am explaining?

    6. 7 33. I see where you are going. However a human would be inclined to bend there torso towards being at 45 degrees or maybe horizontal, where the subject here remains vertical with hardly any if any head bob.

    7. I was just throwing that out there, as that is a theory some skeptics will likely come up with.
I like the footage, personally, and it looks legit to me.

    8. I checked it out after seeing this discussion. I agree with you guys. Thinkthunker's analysis is well detailed. The locomotion involved with taking such a bizarre step is extreme. It's also very interesting that he spotted other features in this video such as a potential head peaking over top of another area. I wonder if this location can be recalled for examination? Looks like it's off in no man's land across a ravine. So who would don a suit and act out such bizarre movements in such a difficult location just to pull off a hoax? And the foot on that thing is huge, talk about a potential tripping hazard for the wearer if that were a suit. Tripping hazard right off the cliff.

    9. Someone with funding (like BFRO) really needs to go there.
Hell, if I lived in the area, I would make arrangements with friends and go this summer, just out of curiosity.
There might be a cave or some type of opening at the top of that ridge.

    10. why do people film stuff like this and then disappear? It gets frustrating. Why would you put a video out there in the public like this one and not include any basic info?
Unless a researcher knows the answers but is keeping the secret information to themselves...as usual...for "Finding BF" type fame.

    11. agree with everyone that says to go back to the area and find the spot, film the hole or small rivine/drop etc. The person that shot the video should have or should do such. I know I would have, but most do not.
      Chuck

    12. Could the subject have been jumping into water?...that may explain the fluid motion, the buoyancy alone would allow a human to drag the back leg.

    13. Thinker Thunkers breakdowns are great.

The source here however is of great concern. The video was first released by the developers of augmented reality adventure app, Legend Tracker.

These guys were also responsible for this other Mission BC vid so these guys certainly have the suit.

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdYOgmqc100&list=UUt9QWVgN2CMitNnTA8VSAgA

They were also responsible for a third Mission BC vid. Some of you will have seen this before...

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjAzH2YtokA&list=UUt9QWVgN2CMitNnTA8VSAgA

An interesting breakdown for sure but like the 'Giant Sequoias' creature that TT covered it's most likely a man in a suit....

A quick call or email to PlayMobility, the company behind Legend Tracker, should provide the answers.

They are all out forself, they're NOT interested in progressing this research Field, their motives are that of monetary. It truly is very sad indeed... 1. Fatsano is one of the most jealous bigfoot hunters out there. He whines and complains when someone other than him is on TV or gets attention.
But donate money on his website folks! He needs it for researching bigfoot.
Does he really think his opinion matters to anyone in the so-called community?
He has posted several videos that he takes down after they are analized and discovered to be fake or mis-leading.
The nighttime Trail-cam Halloween mask tree-peeker, the black tarp are just a couple. Of course, Tim always removes them to avoid critics.

    2. Hey ERNIE. Is that what he did? Figured as much and did not watch accordingly. This place he calls Sylvanic may just have a colony that has lived here for many years unlike the ones in Florida ( or even here in my OHIO or anywhere east of the rockies ) that may be more nomadic. If it were you would you want to bring in a bunch of outsiders that could cause this population to move out of the area? I know I would not.

      Good day to you.

    3. Hi Chuck,

You don't need to watch really. His mocking of Standing is evident with the Florvanic reference. He calls out other researchers a fair bit. It's pretty ridiculous. There's an overabundance of childish politics in this realm of interest and it's a put off for the rest of us (well me anyways).

Just like humans, there are bound to be nomads as well as homesteaders, I agree.

    4. Can anyone clarify for me, does standing claim sylvanic is accessible only through a tunnel miles long? Or is this simply misinformation being spread? Link please.

    7. You are almost correct 8:50. Over the years I've heard Standing spew so much BD about his magic valley.

      How does this grab you?

"The only way to enter the high valley without summiting the ring of peaks is through a small passage in the granite rock wall enclosure that becomes blocked by snow in deep winter, hidden above the narrow canyon entryway. Sylvanic's isolation and the Guardian's strict control of predation provides for fearlessness in the valley's animals that must be respected by all visitors who wish to survive the experience. The wisdom of the Elders denies any simple explanation for the high-altitude stone fortress, emphasizing unnatural factors that point to the ancient engineering of this anomaly zone."
