Don't need a monkey suit to determine it was just a costume. Just check Patterson's history and the timeline. Also if enough money was offered as an incentive I'm sure someone could come reasonably close to achieving it.

If enough money was thrown at that goal it would be achieved. Using the same type of camera and film with the fuzziness resulting, I don't think the costume would be too technical. Just get the walk down and I think you could get reasonably close

ReplyDeletePatterson also deliberately lied about the size of lens used on the camera - for years it was believed (because Patterson said so) that it was a larger size lens than was eventually found to have been used - why was Patterson so stupid as to not know what size lens he was using? - he wasn`t stupid at all and deliberately lied in order to hide certain features evident in the film.

Monkey suits should be easy to find. Using unsubstantiated conjecture as a deflection doesn't shift that burden. Does conjecture explain away an alleged costume that defies all SFX & costume methods to this day? Side stepping that for the conjecture of a processing timeline; convenient. Where's the bloody magic monkey suit?
Baiting for a counter theory of events to something that is based on another theory of events that can't be shown to be false either way, is futile. It's asking for an unfounded stance to be responded with even more vague unfounded stance. It goes around in circles and by the end is still never gonna be an accurate reflection of what actually happened in that timeline.
What we do have, is the footage and the subject in it. What we do have is 100 years of costume and SFX to falsify what we see in that footage.
Why would Patterson be so detailed in his "costume" while filming in shakey 16MM? Did he have a crystal ball to know all the future technological methods of scrutinising the footage, especially being digitalised and stabelised 45 years later? Did he decide to put SFX defying detail to his costume just in case? Detail that could have got him a job in the most well paid of Hollywood SFX as opposed to "swindling about Bigfoot". Oh... and the exact same lens has been used in the McClarin comparison. Check out the MK Davis video.

The Patterson-Gimlin closeup face photo above does seem to have rather obvious large cutout areas for the eyes, so I would have to admit that it does look like a mask. However, until I see the mask I cannot say conclusively that it is fake, as I have not formally examined it.

ReplyDeleteThe Patterson Gimlin footage is essential. It’s one of the most important pieces of evidence ever accumulated. But it means little if there isn’t physical evidence to substantiate it... And the track impressions left by that hominin have been found to be replicated in a different continent by what seems to be the same species of biped; nothing more profound. If I have to bash the idiot around the head with photographs of Patty more than anything else, it merely means he’s unsatisfied with the dated drivel he thought debunked the subject of “Bigfoot”, and needs to hang on to it for dear life.
